Story of the creation
One day, while I was watching the first Star Trek movies, I had the crazy idea of crocheting the famous pointed ears of the Vulcans. Fantasy fans (which I am too) can also see them as Elven ears. And that's also true ! However, since my original idea was to refer to Star Trek, I left the name "Spock Ears". And why not also share the pattern with you ?

I wish you a good crochet time !

Useful informations
- This pattern is written in US terms.
- You can use any type of yarn (cotton, acrylic or wool) depending on how you intend to use it. The most important thing is that it is 3.5 - 4 in size. Here I used Zeeman Royal acrylic.
- These ears can be used for copslays or simply as earwarmers.
- This pattern is worked in the spiral from rounds 1 to 12 : don't close them with a slip stitch.
- To explain more clearly how to add the "sides" to the ears, I made them with white thread. However, it shouldn't be taken into account and made them in beige.
- Feel free to tick the small next to the rows when you have finished them !

The side
Attach a new beige thread at 4 stitches from the right edge for the right ear or at 4 stitches from the left edge for the left ear.

Make 3sc to the nearest end and 1sc on the edge of the main part to join.

Make *3sc in the 3sts made before, ch1, turn, 3sc, 1sc on the edge of the main part to join. Repeat from * until the side and the main part have the same height.

Finish by sewing the two bottom ends together, with a crochet hook or a needle.

All you have to do now is make the side of the other ear, weave in ends and proudly wear them !

Above, a left ear.
Well done, you have finished !
